SILVER GLEN RANCH

Silver Glen Ranch is managed by Gretchen Wacker. Gretchen is the youngest of the four Rogers children, who have all served a tour of duty tending the ranch and the cows. A 2001 graduate of Kansas State University with a degree in animal science, Gretchen has an uncanny awareness of the animals under her charge, and seems to know whenever there are problems and exactly when the new calf will enter the world. She is constantly seeking to improve and upgrade the herd through selective culling, and has a remarkable memory for past production and the success or failure of the offspring of all our cows, she is also testing her bull selection prowess. Gretchen is also a gifted rider who exercises horses each morning.
